Merry Christmas!

We wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! We have had a blast with family this Christmas season. Last weekend we spent the weekend with my whole family except my youngest brother, who is in Korea. Then we went to Arkansas to visit Jason's family! We had everyone here, all 14 of us! Christmas was a blast watching all the kids open their gifts and seeing their faces when they say their Santa gifts! Then once we finished opening gifts we went outside and it was snowing! just enough to make the cars white! It did not stick over night.

Pictures will come once I get home and I am able to go through all the photos.

Merry Christmas!

Photos of the past month!

In the last month we have been very busy! First we went to North Carolina to visit Jason's sister and her family. She has three boys ages, 10, 6, and 4. We had a great time visiting with them.

The second thing we did was we went to Tran-Siberian Orchestra. We had a great time. We were on the second level of the arena, but the music was amazing!

Third, we went to ICE at Gaylord Palms here in Orlando. That was amazing. The entire area is only 9 degrees. Everything is sculpted out of ice. Even the stairs were ice with carpet on top.

I know the photos are out of order of when we did them, but you get the idea.

TSO!

ICE!

Jason's glasses fogged when we walked out of the exhibit!

This is a 13 foot tall angel that is the entrance of the nativity area. Sorry no photos, Jason only took video of the area.

North Carolina!

We were about the clouds! That is how high we are in elevation. His sister lives on top of a mountain!

There is a deer looking at us. We were standing on the front porch!

This is their Christmas tree. It is 12 foot tall. Jason had to go to the loft to put the top piece of the tree. It is a fake tree.

This is from their neighbors back porch!

Here are the two youngest with their dog Lizzy!

Us with the boys right before we left to come home! This is their back yard.

Thanksgiving week!

We are visiting Jason's sister and her family. We are in the mountains near Boone, North Carolina. We are having a great time. Today it was high of 48 degrees and foggy all day. If you were outside in one place for too long you get wet as if it was raining.

Baby is doing great. I am starting to get bigger and everything is going great. I have not had any problems. I do have moments, of "I need to eat" and "I need to sleep". But other than that I am great. More pictures will come soon, once we get home later this week.

Summer has Ended!

Jason and I both start teaching tomorrow. Jason is teaching video game design to eighth grader at Ocoee Middle School. I will be teaching fourth graders at Tangelo Park Elementary. I am starting this year with 17 students which is really low considering there are only 2 fourth grade classes this year. Photos of our classrooms will come later.

Sushi night!

Jason and I have a new love for sushi. Jason has been eating sushi for years. He finally got me to try it and I love it, some of it. I do not like fish. The other night we did not know what to cook for dinner and we decided to make sushi for the first time. We bought a book on our anniversary from the Japanese store at Epcot. Here are photos of our experience.

Jason got the shrimp and the tuna ready to grill.

The zucchini is ready.

The seaweed wraps.

This is the book that we got to show us how to make the sushi.

Jason is grilling the shrimp and the tuna.

Here I am cutting the cram cheese to but on the sushi roll.

This is the sushi roll before I rolled it. Seaweed wrap, rice, zucchini, cream cheese, shrimp.

I am cutting the rolls into pieces.

Our plates. Jason's is on the left, he had the tune and calamari. I had the shrimp. We both had shrimp stuffed with rice and a few egg rolls. It was a lot of food. We had enough that we had it for left overs.

Here Jason is enjoying his shrimp stuffed with rice!

More Summer Fun! Wekiva Springs!

Jason and I bought a boat over the summer. For our first voyage we took it out on the Wekiva River. We started at the Wekiva Island and went upstream to Wekiva Springs State Park. Here are a few pictures of our day.

We do not have a trailer so we had to put the boat on top of the car. I was able to lift it, I know we look funny, but that is the only way.

Here Jason is paddling us up and out of the little canal to the river.

After about an hour we made it to Wekiva Springs State Park. We boated around the lake and tried to fish. I put my line in the water and I could see the bait. It was cool watching the fish come after the bait. However there were to many people and the fish would only nipple and not bite the worm.

We finally left the lake and went up the river to fish. We both cane pole fished and Jason taught me how to cast.

Jason finally caught a bass. However the bass was only 11 inches and to keep the bass it needed to be at least 14 inches. So Jason had to throw it back. That was the only catch we had that day.

Here is the spot that Jason caught the bass.

Along the way we saw some wildlife. Here is a baby alligator that we saw first thing in the morning. He is laying on the big log in the middle of the photo. His back is to us.

Later on in the day we saw this massive alligator. You can not see it in this photo but his tail is as long as his body, it is on the other side of the log.

Here I am in a photo with the same alligator. When we came back by this spot he was not there. I was scared he was under us.

Jason is in the photo with a turtle. The turtle is on the right side of Jason in the middle of the photo on a log. We saw a lot of turtles along the way.

Jason enjoyed "driving" the boat with his motor.

While he controlled the boat, I sat in the front tanning. It was a great day. There was a lot of sun and very little clouds.

Summer days!

During the summer we are watching Cohen, my cousin's baby. We have fun playing with toys, reading books, and taking adventures to the store.

Here is a picture of him playing with toys on the floor. He loves to smile.

After playing he is tired. He is so cute sleeping.

Even "Uncle Jason" gets tired after playing with the little man.

Anniversary! July 8, 2006 - 3 years!

Jason and I decided this year to go to Disney for our anniversary. We spent three days and two nights at the Swan resort at Disney. We had a great time. Below are photos that we took while on our anniversary.

Epcot

After we took the photos with Mickey and Minnie, it started raining hard. It rained most of the day while we were at Epcot, actually it rained most of the time we were there at Disney. We did not mind, it kept some of the guest away.

We ate lunch in Japan. The sushi was great!

Here is a photo of the rain.

While we waited for the rain to slow down or stop we went to France and got dessert. Jason had a cheesecake, and I had a cream stuff puff. They were amazing.

This is the view from our room. Tower of Terror was across the street. we could see fireworks at night from Epcot as long as we looked to the side of the window.

Here is the resort next to us, Boardwalk Resort. In the far distant is downtown Disney and other Disney resorts.

We had a King size bed.

After checking in, we went to Magic Kingdom and then back to Epcot for extra magic hours. That is when Disney stays open three hours after the park closes. They choose one park per day for the extra magic hours. Also they have one park that opens one hour earlier for resort guest.

This fountain was in the lobby of the resort. We ate dinner at the Garden Grove, which was in the resort. We ate a southern buffet that night. While we ate dinner Goofy and Pluto came to visit. We did not have our camera at dinner, so no pictures with the "dogs" of Disney :).

On Wednesday we went to Animal Kingdom.

There are giraffes in the background with Jason.

Here is a gorilla head that is carved in the "tree" in the middle of the park. We were in line to see Bugs 3D show.
