Epcot
After we took the photos with Mickey and Minnie, it started raining hard. It rained most of the day while we were at Epcot, actually it rained most of the time we were there at Disney. We did not mind, it kept some of the guest away.
We ate lunch in Japan. The sushi was great!
Here is a photo of the rain.
While we waited for the rain to slow down or stop we went to France and got dessert. Jason had a cheesecake, and I had a cream stuff puff. They were amazing.
This is the view from our room. Tower of Terror was across the street. we could see fireworks at night from Epcot as long as we looked to the side of the window.
Here is the resort next to us, Boardwalk Resort. In the far distant is downtown Disney and other Disney resorts.
We had a King size bed.
After checking in, we went to Magic Kingdom and then back to Epcot for extra magic hours. That is when Disney stays open three hours after the park closes. They choose one park per day for the extra magic hours. Also they have one park that opens one hour earlier for resort guest.
This fountain was in the lobby of the resort. We ate dinner at the Garden Grove, which was in the resort. We ate a southern buffet that night. While we ate dinner Goofy and Pluto came to visit. We did not have our camera at dinner, so no pictures with the "dogs" of Disney :).
On Wednesday we went to Animal Kingdom.
There are giraffes in the background with Jason.
Here is a gorilla head that is carved in the "tree" in the middle of the park. We were in line to see Bugs 3D show.
